Corduroy is an experiment… a labor of love…. quite possibly a money-losing enterprise? At least given these factors:
1) Only buttered toast, and no fancy cocktails, are sold here
2) Are people really interested in investing in their own growth and the weird events at Corduroy, given other challenges to their finances?
3) The fact that we’re located in a retail store means we can only be open mornings and evenings
4) Rent
5) Living wage for staff is a must
